The series “to melt into your soil and sprout as a flower” explores how forms of co-existence and symbiotic growth can be expressed both metaphorically and literally through content, form, and process. Each work is “grown” over approximately six months using accumulative techniques (some areas reaching dozens of layers, others just a few), in a dialogic process of alternating between collected influences (from AI, digital tools, contributions from my child and those around me, and material constraints) and my own interventions, selectively masking, covering, or revealing previous layers to investigate what influence collaborative touch can have on the process and how it can manifest within painting.
